Ok everyone, remember, yesterday was when Apple iPhone 13 orders started. All the inter tubes were being clogged up by the orders. It’s no wonder Ford was having problems. Apple fanpeople worldwide were pressing “BUY NOW” on their Apple iPhone 13 order! Even Goldman Sachs couldn’t keep up with the Apple Card transactions and died ?????
Ford’s galactic supercomputer in Dearborn handling FordPass and Mustang Mach E updates (I.e., the Commodore Vic 20) never stood a chance ???
Thinking fords servers can have slow downs with no iPhone 13 required.

What I would hope happens is the phone communicates with the car. The car stores activity and sends it to the server on Ford time. That way a million EV's are not trying to see their charging status thru a ford server at the same time. Phone app to car and have the car send the telemetry on fords schedule. No tin foil but I have had enough of you are see 10 hours ago or fordpass is not responding.

Just thinking a million above but what about 10 years of them? Whole current phone home logic baffles me and wonder if it is not too high maintenance and/or prone to slow downs with constant phone homes. Ford built this EV from the ground up but that does not mean the old phone home fordpass was. Fordpass constant interaction with ford servers will always cause problems and will never work. If it is bogged down now I can guess what will happen as more and more hit the road.

so could someone else confirm this? Since updating to fordpass 3.30 I've noticed changes and not for the better. It seems now that the "charge to 100%" and "stop charging" choices have disappeared. I also seem to have problems with the app recognizing the charging should start at my established times. As I always do, yesterday I plugged in some hours before charge time schedule start, App acknowledged car was plugged in but never started charging. I unplugged and plugged back in and it immediately started charging.

Lots of other buggy things that I've never experienced in four months of charging.

Mine has gone buggy too. Half the time, I can get to the "charging location" timer on Fordpass, but the app will not let me save the times or change them ("Save" is grayed out). The other half of the time I just get a red "Fordpass is not responding, please try back later". At this point I have totally given up on Carplay too. I repeat - Other than the software issues - the car is great! Well almost - the rear tailgate did close on my head this morning.

it seems like ford should have a tech line where owners can report issues.

FordPass has gone buggy on me the last two days as well (and still is...). When I go to turn on my Departure Times (was off for vacation last week) - it spins and spins and finally says "FordPass isn't responding. Please try again later." I DO love this car - a lot! - but bugs like these are frustrating and I agree there should be a way for us early adopters to directly report issues to Ford.

Been the most buggy the last week or so since I've had the car. So many weird things too many even to list. Minor things like saying it's plugged in and not charging when it's clearly not plugged in. Nothing that affects the operation of the vehicle though.

Yeah I've had the car four months with zero issues. Fordpass has also been perfect..............until the 3.30 update which seems to have screwed the whole app up.
