On iPhone or iPad you can also set up the light/dark button in the upper right corner pull down to open control center. Tap the plus sign to add the controls you want!

Thanks for the updates on the Pass app! I could have waited on the dark mode for other things that would help me on a daily basis.
Can I request a little more granular selections when it comes to the remote starting tools. If I remote start my car from inside my office at work, when I get to the car, I see that both seat heaters are on and the steering wheel is warming as well. I'd like to be able to select what can be turned on during the remote operation. I don't need the passenger seat to be warmed up when I'm the only one in the car and what if its 40 degrees outside and I don't need the steering wheel warm? All I'm saying is there is sooo much more this app could do and it would be nice to see more options. Seriously, this could be an added selling tool at the dealer because of what it could do. A lot of people love tech and love the options that tech gives them to make our experience more personal I don't want the same experience as the guy down the street with and EV, I want my own personal experience and I want the options to do that. Come on Ford, you've got a good product ask the users what we want and use that to your advantage... I'll stop my rant now.

Almost always, iOS and android development is done by separate teams.
iOS work should stop because Android has PAAK issues.

Is these a link to an “always true” help system? I just had a question on this forum about inviting someone vs sharing my MME with my wife. In the former case, it seems I need her to set up a FordPass account. In the latter case, I want to use this (now simpler) system in the app.

It would be nice to link your what’s new announcement to usage, in context. That’s a help guide. Maybe it exists?

We’ve rolled out the newly designed FordPass® app to help you better manage your vehicle remotely, and we are continuing to deliver new enhancements! We wanted to let you know about the most recent updates – ‘Dark Mode’ and a new way to invite additional drivers to access your vehicle!

‘Dark Mode’: Ford customers with iOS devices will enjoy a sleek, new visual experience in the FordPass app called ‘Dark Mode’. The app’s interface can switch to a dark color scheme, using dark grays, blacks and muted colors for the background and text.

New Authorization: Ford customers using FordPass can now invite additional drivers such as friends and family to access their vehicle straight from the app for a more seamless experience. Previously, friends and family had to request access. Once friends and family have access, they can lock/unlock the vehicle, start the vehicle and view fuel/battery levels. Here is what you need to know:  

To invite a new user to access your vehicle:

1. Open the FordPass app and tap Settings on the home screen
2. Tap Vehicle Access
3. Tap Invite at the top of the Vehicle Access page
4. Enter the new user’s email address and send the invite

For the friend/family receiving the invite, they just have to:

1. Download FordPass mobile app
2. Create an account with the same email that the invitation was sent to
3. Tap “Accept Invitation” in the invitation email

I'm 97% sure it follows your phone setting. On the iPhone, that's Settings/Display & Brightness.

Get together with Apple and solve the apple maps, Googlemaps ability to precondition the battery while using the maps apps in iOS!!!

For me this update is totally useless. Why not put something useful in the ap, like the status of the 12V battery, including voltage and internal resistance, to make it easier to take proactive action to avoid getting locked out by a dead aux battery.
