Free Tesla Adapror update

Sorry if this has been discussed to death. I did a search and didn't find an answer. I signed up for the Tesla adaptor in the Spring and was given a Sept ETA. I know there was a delay, but we're almost at the end of the year and nothing has arrived. Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone to contact?

There are a few posts on it... You just have to search for the word "adapter." You can wait or purchase your own from Lectron and A2z. No one to call to make the official one come faster.

Also, the most recent posts I saw show that orders in the 37xxx range have been shipping. I'm in the 40xxx range and ordered 3/1 if that helps give you an idea how much longer you have to wait.

I placed my order as soon as the link became available in February. Arrived mid June. October 18th came an email from Ford saying an issue as been identified and to stop using it. I’ve followed up a few times and been told “ soon’.

Somewhere around 35,000 have been delivered I believe but over 100,000 were requested so it will still be some time. Unfortunately you will just have to wait patiently or purchase a 3rd party adapter.

Go to Ford.com and login to your account. From there tap or click on my account. In that area somewhere (exactly where depends upon whether you’re on a mobile device or desktop) you’ll find “Check the status of your fast charging adapter here” click or tap on that. Otherwise use the link in the original email from Ford.

Warning: About 200,000 adapters have been ordered. Even with the addition of Lectron as a supplier to Ford it’s going to take awhile. Buy an A2Z adapter or the Lectron adapter if you need it soon.

Search your email and there’s a link to check your status, (which I relate to the airlines stating a flight is currently “on time” to depart even though you’re watching them doing an engine change on the tarmac.)

The email that you received explains it all. If you note on the bottom, it says to retain the email. There is a link that you can select for the status but it will not be accurate.

Sorry, I did search for about an hour before I posted. I did indeed find tons of stuff about adaptors but not how to find an update on my order. So many other people were super helpful.
