Several weeks ago I got a warning that there was a Front Camera Failure. I had to leave the car at the dealer for the day (took a10 days to get an appointment) and after many attempts to resolve the issue they determined it needed a module replacement. Waited another week for the new module to arrive and several days to get another appointment. Left the car there for day but the technician could not get the module to accept the programming. They called Ford tech support but couldn't get an answer that day so i took the car home. A week later they were told the new module was probably defective and they needed to order a new one. Its 10 more days and they have not yet received the new module. Its now nearly a month, still no resolution and I am not confident that the new module is going to fix this but we'll see.
The problem is that without a front end camera there is no front end collision avoidance, I can't use cruise control ( not even basic cruise control), and automatic high beams is non functional too. None of those are deal breakers but the lack of cruise control has been a pain on som long drives the past two weeks.
Has anyone else had an issue like this?
