Would certainly be nice to be able to disable this until it's needed.

What harm does the camera wash can do?
It could be hydraulic.
No harm, but it will look gross to have streaky washer fluid residue all over the nose of my clean car.
Hydraulic?! As in, operated with hydraulic fluid because it needs to push out a washer nozzle with 800 PSI?
It doen't have to be 30,000 PSI to be hydraulic. Washer fluid is fluid.
Ok now I understand what you're saying, apologies for the unnecessary sarcasm. If it is not powered, the pump is. Hopefully a separate and independently controlled one at that.
No problems. Will see how it works. I suppose a single pump for the windshield and the camera.
