Is there a place to purchase replacement clips when I invariably break and lose them ? I’d like to be proactive about my failings.

I bought a giant pack of them on Amazon. I haven’t had one go flying since. The pack is still unopened.

I have posted this before but it might be helpful here as well.

I haven't done a graphic for the side panels yet, but the basics are to start near the hinge and work your way toward the front of the car sliding your hand (with gloves on) along until you're close to the next clip and then pull firmly upwards, and then move on to the next one. Expect some of the clips to come out of the panel slots and stay in the car body receptacles, and remove them from the body with a trim clip tool or needle nose pliers and put them back in the slot they came out of.

The two side panels meet in the middle, with one side overlapping the other. (I think it's the left side overlapping the right if I remember correctly).

Knowing what I know now, I would not take any of these panels off if the temp drops anywhere below say 50F. I've already bought a new left side panel because I snapped the clip support closest to the negative jump post completely off due to it being very cold when doing a module update one day. I then drilled the holes for the PS cables like I had done on my '21 model previously and haven't looked back. I'm keeping the new panel to install if I ever sell the car.

And when I'm removing these panels, I wear a pair of gloves like either of these (I keep a set in the car as well). I got tired of tearing up my hands.

These are very grippy, but they protect from sharp edges, and they're okay to get wet.
