I have received numerous updates over the past couple of weeks. Most installed, some stayed at incomplete. No biggie.
This past Saturday I noticed I had an update that kept getting postponed. I figured it was the 12v battery since I drive the less than once a week currently. I plugged the car in with plans to run a few errands. All went well, upon returning home the update installed. Later Saturday afternoon we decided to go out for dinner. Hoped in the car and was greeted with the HVB Stop Safely Now error. Figured it was a fluke so started and stopped a few times. Drove back and fourth in my short driveway. Nothing cleared the error.

Found the old post on this forum about shutting down the car, exiting the vehicle and wait at least 10 minutes. I did just that, turned off Bluetooth on my phone, shut down the car and set a timer for 15 minutes. Came back to the car and everything seems happy!

All this to ask the simple question, should I be worried? 2023 GTE build date of June 2023

Worried about failing the HVBJB? Anyone with a 1st or 2nd generation HVBJB should always have it in the back of their mind that it might fail. I wouldn’t worry about it though. ??

Just FYI I got mine replaced in August of 2023 with a Gen2 part. I am not too concerned with it. I was going to try to blow it up in favor of the Gen3 part (November of 2023) but I think I will just let it happen organically. ?‍♂?

My 2023 3.5 GTPE is a July 2023 build, so unlikely it got the third version.
I'm not saying I am intentionally trying to get the latest version, but I'm willing to admit to a fair amount of rural hooliganism, usually daily.

Been about 6000 miles of grinning and so far so good. I am NOT worried about it either way.

Yeah, definitely not the LK9Z-10C666-C part, since that was phased in in mid-November. It’s the same as my replacement part at LK9Z-10C666-B (mine has an RM suffix since it’s a remanufactured part). ?‍♂?
