Frustration level is high with FordPass

I brand new to Ford and brand new to EV. I purchased a 23 March E Premium and love it. I am deeply disappointed with Ford and their For Pass app. I have not been able to get it to work. I keep getting “Ford all not responding. I have spoken to their tech department and was told to log out log in. No fix. The to uninstall and install. Still no fix. After 20 or so minutes I was told it’s a known issue with no resolution date.
Any thoughts?

What do you mean "Ford all not responding"?

Are you able to log into FordPass? Did you do the initial connection to the car? How long has it worked, and then stopped working?

Example I’m trying to change my charge times. “Ford App not responding “. I tried to update my address. Ford app is not responding etc

Recommend setting up / changing your charging schedule and departure times directly in the car via the big screen and not via FP.

While I’m not a huge fan of FordPass, I haven’t had any problems in the past few months. I don’t know what device (iOS or Android) you are running FordPass on. I’m running mine on an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 17 (also had no issues with the most up to date version of iOS 16)

Thanks for the info. I’m all updated with my software. I finally got an answer from Ford.”it’s a known issue”.

I am using it on Android (Galaxy S21) and also pretty happy with it. But the key to happiness (as often in life) is to set reasonable expectations, and I don't expect much from this app. What I use it for is to check the battery %%, make sure it is charging (need to be patient with that and jump from one tab to another several times), sometimes I check the tire pressure.

You maybe right. This is my first Ford and EV. I come from Cadillac and never had any issues with “My Cadillac” app or with OnStar. C’est la vie

I can only compare FP with Tesla and Kia Connect apps. I use Android. FP is definitely not as good or responsive as T but it feels more reliable than Kia. Besides PAAK, I have not had issue with it. I can check SOC, schedule charging, locate the car and lock/unlock. I only wish I can do real time tracking of the car and see live camera like T and take 360 photo like Kia.

Hedgehog. Speak English haha. I’m so new I do not know all this lingo yet. What is PAAK?

I feel your frustrations. I'm only a little over 1200 miles into my MME Premium ownership and have had all those same issues with FordPass not responding for charge times or departure times, which I'm often trying to change while laying in bed about to go to sleep. I will say that it's gotten better, so I don't know what happened, but I haven't seen the error in awhile and I just changed my departure time Sunday night while laying in bed.

That being, I'm sure I jinxed myself.
