Future battery replacement

I bought my MME with the assumption a cheap battery replacement would be available when the time comes - sort of like replacing the battery in my iPhone, and hopefully with options direct from Ford OR off-brand like the car equivalent to mall kiosk phone fixers.

Friendly amendment: The current battery pack currently costs over $25K.

That figure is certain to go down in the coming years.

A consideration: The battery in its entirety is unlikely to fault and if cell/s do so there are a number of arrays which make up our batteries which can be swapped out individually and they cost c£$3000 each so probably unlikely to need to change complete battery at any time.
