As you can see, I'm new at this, just got my MME in June when my 2018 Fusion died a rather ignoble death. I've been retired for 20 years, and I'm not really tech inclined. I turn on my electronics, and I expect them to work. When I leased the MME, it had these neat little ghost pony lights that shine onto the ground when you approach at night to unlock the car. My wife really likes them and thinks the grandchildren will too when they visit at Christmas. We went out for dinner the other night, and they didn't light up. My wife commented about it. Last night, the same thing. So, I figure I must have done something wrong. Can anyone tell me what I did, and how I can easily remedy the problem without calling Ford? They would probably just send out the mobile unit and fix it in 5 minutes or less, but I'd really like to know what I did.

I’m going to suggest the most obvious but it probably isn’t this. The “ghost” light is called the “Welcome light” in the light settings, make sure it is on. Note people also refer to it as the puddle light. Also it does have to be quite dark to see it. It should be on when you approach the car and the other lights come on.

Have you done something so yours are blue?
No.

I think it was just a reflection from the sports bar patio lighting that I was leaving. It might also be from the blue Handicap parking line I was parked next to.

They are quite elusive on mine, I've only ever seen them a few times.
