Gloss replacement for select plastic side trim?

I have the select and hate that I can't paint or vinyl the side trim and wheel arch.

I guess I could take it off and sand it down really good and hope for the best?

But it might just be easier to get the gloss ones if possible?

Do they make parts for those?

I think I found them for about 150 each but I can't tell if they are the gloss or not. It just says body color.

You can’t do either? As in, it’s not advised or pretty hard to do ?

For it to look flawless, you can buy the premium trim set and replace yours. Except for the shine finish (on Premium) vs matt finish (on Select), the part should just fit.

Guy said vinyl won't stick and that he would charge me way too much to paint because he would have to sand it down and do a lot to make sure the paint would stick and last. Even the guy didn't want my money ha.

I'm tempted to try Forever Black Dye on them to see if it can give it a darker black color. I used that on the trim for a Jeep Cherokee I once owned and it worked miracles.

Is it what described as the 'gloss pocket'? I wonder if Cal Rte has the gloss one.
