Eversince taking delivery of our AWD, Premium, Ext Battery Mach-E last December, the range figures have hardly climbed above 200 miles on full charge, despite the fact that this model and trim had an EPA advertised 280-mile range.

Well, today on a drive from VT to NYC, the length of the trip was 202 miles. I kept an eye on the range numbers, just in case I had to find a fast charger nearby.

But what have you? I managed to complete the trip, starting with 100% battery, and had 82 miles left when I got home. That translates to 282 miles on full charge.

Mind you, I still had my winter tires on.
I kept the speed at 65mph or less, and didn’t need to use heat or A/C.

Happy to see the numbers finally play out after the long winter we’ve had here.

As for anyone else living in Canada or Alaska, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Yup. I got 252 from my ER AWD yesterday at 100%. Good bye Winter for sure. I switched to my summer tires and rarely run the climate system. Now that it’s 55 F and above, I am averaging 4.1 mi/kWh so I am well over 300 miles now. I cannot wait for the GOM to adjust.

My last charge extrapolated to 263 based on the GOM. And I always beat the GOM!

65mph is a big reason for the range. Do that in the summer and you will have great range.

I should complain to Ford that they gave me more range than expected!
maybe they gave you the wrong battery! (*)

(*) they did not - this is a bit of a forum insider joke

Pirelli Sottozero 3 (225/60R-18)

I'll be switching to the OEM A/S wheels next week, and selling my winter setup. We're moving down south this summer, and I'll have no need for my winter wheels/tires down there.

Yup last summer i was seeing anywhere from 2.7 - 3.3 mi/kwh. In the winter it dropped dramatically, but the past few days I've been back up near 2.7+.
