Grabber Blue vs. Velocity Blue

Grabber Blue is the best paint choice IMO. I feel sorry for anyone else who chose the less desirable colors offered.

It looks good in these lighting conditions. But I don’t think it’s a good representation for how it looks most of the time. Otherwise, I would have gotten one!

I’m partial to the original MME blue, Infinite Blue Metallic. 3 years old and still as deep a color as when new in ‘21.

Back then the higher end color was a $400 option.

The darker they make the blue, the more conventional it becomes. What makes grabber so cool is how bright it is. Almost pastel. I love it. Blue cars are a dime a dozen - but not grabber blue.

Driving around, minding my business, and a wild Velocity Blue MachE appears. Pull up next to it for some comparison photos, then take off like a teenager.

Sad I'm losing my Grabber Blue in a few weeks, but now that I've seen the replacement color for my "arriving-sometime-this-year-maybe" Rally it's not as bad as I was imagining. I'm still Grabber Blue for life, but Velocity is acceptable.
