I'll take a shot at #2....did you cancel out of the destination after the last trip ? If not the car doesn't realize that the trip is done and it still has the preset destination and is trying to get you there (home)
Its trying to get you to the last destination that you programmed in .
Hit the little red X to cancel those instructions to the navigation destination and just the overall map will show up .

I never use the Ford Navigation (Apple Connect/Maps), and even when it comes on, I x out and cancel. I should not have any reason to kick back in. Thank you.

Totally agree that a button on the dash or on the door for the trunk to open would have been user friendly.

I have another quirck: I use my remote key on my iPhone - I like not having to carry my key fab. But if I leave the car on in park, step out of the car, close the door, re-enter my car - my car will not “start”, even though I left it “running”.

I literally have to turn off the car, unplug my phone from the cable, get out of the car, close the door, and start all over as if I was just entering my car for a new ride.

Anyone else have this issue?

That one I have not had, although I have had a couple instances where I could not start the car with my PAAK. Could never figure out why...

Your trunk button works most of the time? Mine only works when it wants to. It is sporadic.

Let me start with number five. If you close the tailgate with the button in the middle, it opens and closes all the way. If you close the gate with the button on the left side, the tailgate will only open to the point where it was when you hit that button. You may have to reset that.

3. My car used to be confused when my wife and I were both in the car with our iPhones. It has now realized I’m king of this castle. It doesn’t happen anymore.

1. Make sure the Ford app is open when you approach the car sometimes my paddle lights don’t work for a short while after a new update. At some point, my car usually figures it out.
Regarding #5 - we always only use the small middle button to open and close the tailgate. Sometimes it opens all the way, sometimes it only opens a little. It's very random and I can not detect any pattern to the behavior. A longer or shorter button doesn't make a difference. Just a small annoyance.

For #2, there is a setting in the nav that will recommend destinations. You can turn that off and it will reset to on after an OTA.

Regarding #4, nobody at Ford has said a thing even hinting at the liftgate button being moved from the Settings screen. Many of us have given up on that and installed a mechanical Liftgate switch to replace the mechanical Max Defrost switch. ??
