Has anyone ever received a message that your car reset itself?

This message just popped up saying that my PaaK access and passcodes were removed because of a master vehicle reset. But I didn’t do a reset.

My car is in my garage and no one touched it. How do I know if I got an OTA? I don’t have a message in fordpass saying I did. Is there another way to check?

What's your build date? If it is a Job 1 car, before July 2021, then you can see if you have notes/sketch in the apps section or the 2 new games released with 2.3.0 - blocks and something else.

It’s a job 2 car (a GT) - I have sketch but no other games.
Also, my car was not actually reset! I just got a message that it was.

Ah, okay, great news! Odd for sure, but at least it was a false alarm.

I've seen this pop up on here every so often. It's a random bug that can clearly cause quite a scare. Maybe @Ford Motor Company could stop by, get your info and look at the cars logs

I found that my Sirius xm presets were reset. Could be a coincidence since lots of people have that issue without getting the master reset message I got. Could be related.

I have not, though I vaguely recall reading somewhere here that it was a Ford server side issue that caused this false reset warning a while back.
