My reservation date was 12/27/19 and order date was 8/1/20. I'm fine with any delivery dateMy build date is 12/21. I had a reservation pretty much right away when they started taking them.
From the sheet in the order thread, it looks like New England will be getting deliveries after anyone west of here. Probably due to being the furthest possible US region from the factory.
I can't really blame them. Logistics and optimizing transportation costs have to factor into the process. If its a great car, then getting it a couple of weeks later won't matter in the long run.
When did you make your reservation to get the 1/24 build date?
I'm not too far from you. Question will be if our delivery dates will be similar even if build dates a couple weeks different... What dealership are you using? My build week is 1/4/21 for central CT. Reserved on 11/23 for a premium awd er.
Gengras in Plainville. You?I'm not too far from you. Question will be if our delivery dates will be similar even if build dates a couple weeks different... What dealership are you using?
I just got my production date! February 1st!Checking in from Central CT. Got my production date today - 1/24/01. Anyone else in New England get their production dates?
I don’t think you can change the color after your build date has been scheduled.(My order is infinite blue, but I'd like to see the whites to make a final decision)
Mine as well. Opposite sides of the country for them.I just got my production date! February 1st!
The day after I received my build week email, I contacted my dealer to change my color (I had just gone to a Tour and seen my original color choice up close, wanted to change). He said it might take a few days, but would not affect my build week (Dec 14). 4 hours later I received an update email from Ford showing my new color and when I logged into Ford, there was my order with the new color change. My dealer assured me of 2 things: 1. any change in model after a build date is assigned cancels your order and you have to start with a new order; 2. the dealership Demo Unit build date is next week and dealers are required to keep the Demo for 4 months - IT IS NOT TO BE SOLD OR THE DEALERSHIP RISKS LOSING ALL MACH-E ORDERS. I have seen other posts of dealers saying their first dealer unit is available for sale. Not so.I don’t think you can change the color after your build date has been scheduled.
Interesting. I also changed my color. The dealer sent me confirmation right after I placed my order with the updated color. Ford.com still shows the incorrect color. I'm going to go over that, again, with the dealer when I'm there tomorrow for the "dog and pony show"The day after I received my build week email, I contacted my dealer to change my color (I had just gone to a Tour and seen my original color choice up close, wanted to change).
