Hertz Shelby Mach-E GT-H Spotted

Multiple reports of them despite no official announcements from either Ford or Hertz. Hertz was trying to get into the EV game before backing off on that a couple weeks ago. Maybe I can get a Hertz Shelby cheap in a month or so.

Hertz isn't completely out of EVs, they're just scaling back their plans. I just rented a Tesla from them last week.

One thing I suspect Hertz isn't happy about: wheels. Both of the Teslas I've rented (at opposite ends of Canada) had serious curb rash on all four. When I tried to bring an attendant's attention to this as I took out my last one she told me "It happens with ALL of them. We don't even bother now."

That sound selector mounted to dashboard looks awful IMO. How hard would’ve been to just add it to the touch screen? ? Perhaps throw in few more sounds options

I’m renting one this weekend in Austin. Didn’t know they exist until I did a walk around of the PC area at Hertz here. I own a GT Performance fully loaded. Hopefully this will provide a different experience.

Seeing as these start as a base GT, I’m going to guess the following-

It’ll ride a little worse and stiffer. Other than that it’ll feel pretty much like our cars.

My brother just sent me these pictures. I tried to search here and on google (even Hertz website) and can’t find any details.

Anyone seen details on the Hertz Shelby GT-H? Is this finally Shelby building a car after 3 years of teasing one? I wonder if any power upgrades.

That’s louder than I expected it would be.

Kinda interesting but only for a gimmic/joke kinda thing. I can’t imagine wanting the extra noise all the time.

And this is coming from a guy who has owned and modified the exhaust on multiple v8 vehicles.

One of the things I love about the Mach E is that you can floor it without drawing attention.
