Hertz Shelby Mach-E GT-H Spotted

My brother just sent me these pictures. I tried to search here and on google (even Hertz website) and can’t find any details.

Anyone seen details on the Hertz Shelby GT-H? Is this finally Shelby building a car after 3 years of teasing one? I wonder if any power upgrades.

Multiple reports of them despite no official announcements from either Ford or Hertz. Hertz was trying to get into the EV game before backing off on that a couple weeks ago. Maybe I can get a Hertz Shelby cheap in a month or so.

Most I can find is rando on Reddit saying it’s carbon fiber bits, wheels, stickers and suspension. They also said it has the borla active sound (which would be super odd on a rental). They also may be confusing it with the SEMA concept car in 2022.

My guess is the same Shelby GT they’re doing in Europe but with Hertz colors. Thats what they do for the gas version.

As to why it exists on the road, but no word for Ford, Hertz, and Shelby is baffling.

If you look at one of the ones inside the Shelby building, it still has the regular GT flower wheels.

Definitely a base GT (seats). Does have the borla active exhaust thing. Carbon fiber hood and bits.

I'm with you. Branding, I suppose. Good for Hertz, maybe, but sad if Shelby is reduced to slapping stickers on cars. My 5 year old could use a job...

Hertz is following the PT Barnum rule. It’s likely to work in places like Miami, Orlando, and SoCal.
