Whenever my ex needs her car serviced we swap because I work walking distance from the mechanic we always use. She is driving my old 2011 Acura TSX. As I was driving it into work today, I happened to glance down at the odometer: ~232,000 miles. She runs a bit rougher than when I first got her but she still runs.

What is the highest mileage anyone (in this forum) has put on a BEV? First battery pack only.

My Chevy Bolt, which we gave to my son last year, had 103K miles on it when the battery got replaced under the recall. Had about 10% degradation.

The only maintenance issue I ever had on it was the front wheel hubs got replaced under warranty at about 20k miles, it was making bearing noise at highway speeds. My son now has nearly 145k miles on it and had to have the HVAC system recharged recently.

In 2009 Avi H. Replaced his original pack on his 2002 Rav4EV @150K miles. The last update I had from him was in 2022. He had put on another 107K miles on his 2nd pack at that point.

I remember seeing this video and it came to mind. Wonder if it's still out there and how many miles now.

https://insideevs.com/news/598591/tesla-model-x-200000-miles/

Not a great look with paint bubbling/rust at 5 years old, but Tesla generally seems to have a solid powertrain. Kyle (the video host) has a Model 3 with over 120k very hard miles, lots of supercharging, fast driving, loaned out to friends, etc.

I don't like the interior form/function choices of Teslas, but at least from what I have seen they have some of the best motor/battery setups for long life. There are some exceptions for sure, but can find plenty of ICE vehicles with fewer than 50k miles that need engine/trans replacements for various reasons.

Hopefully the MME proves to be as good or better.

Apply that to me: I've been tracking my mileage since purchase. Spreadsheet says I drive 44 miles/day (over 19.2 months) or 16,097 annually. At that rate it will take me seven years to hit 111K.

I would then be at ~245 miles at 100% SOC under ideal conditions. Throw in what we hope is much better DCFC reliability and availability and I'd still consider myself in good shape.

Thanks for insight. How much of it is fast charged, and, have you been keeping it in the 20-80% range?

Edit: Forgot to ask, extended range AWD or RWD?
Not much DCFC maybe 10 times?? I plug in every night and charge to 100% in the winter/colder months and about 80% in warmer/summer, spring, fall months. I have the Charge Point Home Flex charger on 60 AMP breaker. First Edition so AWD extended range.

Quite similar. AWD ER, Homeflex Charger (but on a 50 amp). Essentially no DCFC'ing. Charge to 90% in winter and 85% in summer (kind of an arbitrary choice). In summer I don't plug in every night. In the winter I do so the car heats up off of the house rather than the battery.

I have two MME. my wife's car was two years old in September. she charges to 100% EVERY night. ZERO degradation. Put all the science crap away and just enjoy the car. her 2021 has 91,000 miles. My 2023 GT has 39,000. She charges to 100% EVERY day. The only factor of concern is temperature. below 40 degrees means about 250 miles max. Above 105 is about the same. In between we get 280 miles. Together we drive an average of 6,000 miles PER MONTH. All of this science crap is above is boring. i go by real world stuff and since I have owned one since 2021 I think i know what is best for my cars.
