How do I know if I've received the PowerUp update for Tesla Supercharger network?

I'm seeing some Tesla Superchargers in the Public Charging app in the car, does that mean I'm ready to go whenever I receive my adapter from Ford? Or is there a specific update I need to begin using Tesla Superchargers?

I saw mine on my FordPass app. It had Tesla as an option for charging with Plug&Charge.

Same. Just wasn't sure that meant you can actually use them if there was some sort of PowerUp that needs to occur first, or if we have it already.

Look in FordPass. If you see the below screen under Plug and Charge in Blue Oval Charge Network, then all you need is a Ford-approved NACS-to-CCS adapter and you’ll be good to go.

If you see Tesla SC location in Public Charging (used to be called Charge Assist), then you have the Tesla OTA update.

Comes in handy when you want true plug & charge like EA.

If the OTA isn't there, you can always use the Tesla app and select the charger before plugging in.

Would be nice to have the Public Charging icon (had it on my '22 Premium) .... I am currently on 6.14 with the new icons, but no Public Charging icon as of yet.....

I do have this screen in the app. I've been using the FordPass beta app, which does not have this screen. But when I switched back to the old app, it was there.

I got the Tesla update, have Superchargers in plug and charge, and see superchargers in Fordpass. However, when I search for chargers in nav, the only ones that come up are Magic Dock locations. (I do not have the Public Charging app.)

Ford has to send out an update in order for the V3 superchargers to appear in the nav.

For now use the Tesla app, Ford Pass or ABRP or Plugshare to find V3 NACS superchargers. Even better, use the Tesla website for new stations that we have access to. There are currently, 2 new stations that Tesla opened this week here in Florida that don't appear in any of the apps I mentioned, but they're on the website. Those stations will appear in the app eventually, but if you're leaving for a trip always check Tesla's website as well.

Are you talking about 24-PU0119-DC-CHG4? That's the one I was referring to when I said I got the Tesla update in my post. Is there another one?

There's a separate update just for the superchargers to appear in the nav. Ford is supposed to send that update later this year.

You might also check to see whether you have "hide locations that require an adapter" selected. If so, that may be why they're not showing up. If you unselect it, then those locations will appear.
