How is my driving?

I’m really curious what the criteria for good deceleration is, I’m a software engineer and things like this intrigues me. I’m usually in the low 70 percent. I use 1P, so it’s doing all the deceleration.
I think the more aggressive the braking the higher the score, but I’m not sure.

Anyone using 1P getting a better score?
Is anyone getting better scores that don’t use 1P?

If I drive around town not doing full lift off for 1 pedal stops, but doing gradual stops I see 100% deceleration score. Of the 3 categories, I generally score the best on braking. speed... not so much.

I've often wondered the same thing. I seem to do "better" when I'm in whisper mode as opposed to unbridled, but I much prefer unbridled.

I put it in unbridle on day 1 and broke the knob off.

I run in Whisper and braking score of 94 is a pretty low day for me.
I’m not sure if it’s simply scoring points off when the friction brakes activate, or if you need to give the motor time to switch into power generation mode so being gentle even inside of the regen envelope is important?

Deceleration scores better the lower pressure you apply to the brakes. From what I managed to gather the first quarter of pressure provides the most regen, the further past that you go the more the pads engage and less regen. If you're gradually breaking as opposed to sudden breaks the better your score and regen is. Don't use 1 pedal, but it should have the same logic.

Great topic. I guess I drive like a grandpa. I upgraded my 23 Select standard range for a 25 premium extended range. The acceleration deceleration curves with these new Ford motors and inverters. It’s a little steeper than the Select was. I have less than 1000 miles on it, but I’m gonna see where I end up. I’m sure Im just as curious as you are with your Software way of thinking.

Is anyone getting better scores that don’t use 1P?

Although the first year or two paid attention to this screen, haven't looked since.....
wife and I are 2PD exclusively. Looking back, here are our stats:

• wife: freeway and local roads decel = 97% - 100%
• me: freeway decel = 92% - 100%
  • local roads decel = 97% - 100%

wife drives like a normal person, whereas I can be a hooligan at times.....

These are my lifetime stats thus far on my '25. I do kinda drive like a grandpa. I use 2 pedal in Engage mode aka Bridled

I had forgotten that a brake coach even existed. My car hasn't been in engage mode in a few years. As for the trip information, I am well aware of how the car behaves in our brutally mild climate around here. 7/10 mile/kWh on the last 7 miles of road home is the only number I need to pay attention to (Except for the speed during the last 7 days of any given month ).
