We ordered a 2021 MME Premium SR AWD last June from a dealer, later decided if the car was not to arrive until winter, we would rather have a 2022, so we cancelled and ordered a 2022 online. That 2021 car just arrived at the dealer, so maybe the timing will help someone else. From order to arrival, it took exactly 189 days, 27 weeks.

Not surprisingly to members of this forum, each and every scheduled or estimated date was missed. Scheduled to be built in August, actual late September, then sat in limbo (chips?) for a month plus until shipped. Shipping was actually close to predicted at 45 days. So my PSA is that all these dates are approximate, yours may vary.

Also, if anyone want a Rapid Red 2021 for MSRP, contact Chapman Ford in Marysville, Ohio

I'm amazed you got an August production date with a June order.

I also ordered in June and got radio silence till I got a production date a few weeks before it was first going into production

September 20 email saying it would be oct 18.

It didn't get built til Nov 18, exactly a month late. And now has been stuck in KC since the 30th.

Pretty sure it won't be here by 2022 now, ATM 188 days since I ordered. If it comes in Jan I'll have to decline pickup and get something else. Just lucky we didn't need a new car, just wanted one.

Rather than one dat point, I encourage you to enter your information in the tracking database. It has been extremely useful in understanding patterns in order deliveries.

I am willing, but convince me that entering the data would not be just a waste of time. I am on this forum every day, and have never seen a summary of this data posted for users. What good are pages and pages of raw data? What is the current average time between order and delivery? Be nice to know.

That's because you didn't join until June. I was using it regularly and posting discussions using the data from it up until the time deliveries started in earnest in the Spring. That took a lot of work but was very valuable to the Forum.

It's time for someone else to pick that mantle up to do more recent analysis. However, they can't do the heavy work if folks aren't willing to take a few minutes to enter their data.

The Forum is only as good as what everyone puts into it.

Exactly why I posted. All the dates got missed, most by a mile.

So there has been no summary since June, because you lost interest, and it's a lot of work to do, so why wouldn't someone be enthused to pick it up? Got it.

Just curious: why will you decline delivery if it arrives in January?

My schedule was the same - ordered in June, production scheduled for August, delivered in October. Pretty good as these things go - some have been quicker, most have been much slower.

I don't want to take a 9k$ gamble the law passed, and us taxes can be applied retroactively, so even if it passes in October next year, you will never know how the dice land.

I already preorder a 2022 cal rt 1 that's 54,575$, slightly under limit that can potentially be here in May.

So you'd rather spend your time on arrogant quips than be helpful to a Forum that's provided you with lots of valuable information. Got it.
