I forgot to add the smiley.

I never saw more than about 3 minutes of the movie, and I’m not a numerology fan so yeah… by process of elimination … joke. Well done.
The books were way better than the movie.

sincerely,
That Guy

The radio play (of which the books were made from) was even better.

Sincerely,
That other Guy.

Are you asking "how many chips" or "how many computers"?

Even asking "how many chips" is difficult to answer reasonably. Do you count a transistor? If not, what about a protected transistor with logic to disable it with over-current or over-temperature? Some can even signal what type of problem caused it to turn off.

Counting only "computers" can be just as challenging. Many of them can be easy to miss. As a previous poster mentioned, even the in-wheel tire pressure monitor has multiple chips. The pressure sensor chip might have its own microcontroller for calibration and linearity correction. The main chip has a fairly sophisticated microcontroller to handle the radio and communication protocol.

Agree, this...

Mach-E might have roughly 45 modules, each around the power of an inexpensive laptop, with some more powerful and some less.

I would assume a "chip" is any device made using a semiconductor fabrication process. I have no idea what a modern PCM has for chips. My guess is dozens to hundreds of chips in a PCM, but it's just a guess.
