How many removed the Frunk Divider?

Yes, I did, almost right away.
It only took a few days for me to get frustrated with all those little cubbies. I love the wide open space much better.

I rather like the Frunk divider. Except when I’m trying to use the Frunk for groceries. Cause that’s the best spot for them imo. Then it doesn’t work.

I removed the horizontal divider almost immediately. And it made things marginally better. I took the rest out at about the one month mark.

In the two months that I've owned the car I've probably opened the frunk maybe 5 times. Mostly to show people.

Keep seldom used stuff like tire pump, camping gear, Tesla tap in the frunk. Also gets the food when we go camping or stuff like a laptop if I want to avoid a smash and grab.

Sorry to disappoint you, but your car won't come with frunk dividers. Now you'll have to find something else to do with the 4 minutes it would have taken to remove them.

I removed it the first weekend I had the vehicle. My extension cords for charging live there now.

I removed the dividers almost immediately after taking the car home. I reused the plugs on the holes left after removing it. Right now it is empty but I may store the Ford mobile EVSE in there if I purchase another one. I also removed the middle rear headrest to make the image through the rear view mirror better with no obstruction. The last thing was taking out the carpeted floor mats when I put the rubber ones in. Everything removed is stored in my basement so that I can replace them should I sell the car.

Kept the left side, packed with 12V jump pack, 10mm wrench, trim tools, cleaning cloths and cleaning stuff, and a tire pressure gauge, couple of bungies, a tie down strap, funnel for windshield fluid filling, etc.

Some amazon special, bought a few for replacing oil and other odd jobs. It works well for the windshield washer port, no matter how careful I am, I spill some without it.

Had my dividers removed when PPF was applied. Plan to store supplies like others have posted for spring road trip to AZ.

Like many others, I kept the left side in and removed the rest. In the SF Bay Area, where car break ins occur if you leave anything visible, I use it quite a bit..

My question is why do some people have the frunk button in FordPass and are able to use 7/8 on the panel to open the frunk? Is it after certain build dates? Or do you need a specific update? I can't open the frunk either way and really wish I could.

Yes, cars built after June 18th have it. The rest of us will get it eventually.
