And most importantly #ignorethegomDrive at 45mph (the sweet spot for EPA economy testing), don't make jack rabbit starts and stops, always make sure you get 100% brake regeneration at every stop, drive like you have an egg between your foot and the accelerator pedal, keep your tires inflated to 39psi, keep interior temp around 71 degrees.... all the things you didn't spend all the big bucks to buy a GT to do.
Don't sweat the small stuff. After all you are getting 94% of the estimated range. On my ICE vehicles I've never ever gotten any where near 95% of the EPA estimated fuel economy.
I had a 2009 VW Jetta TDI. EPA estimate was something around 42 MPG........On my ICE vehicles I've never ever gotten any where near 95% of the EPA estimated fuel economy.
You are doing quite well for January in Oregon!I just bought 2025 Ford Mach E GT . I am observing the range I am getting is 235 miles only. Ford is advertizing it to be 250 miles. Please suggest how can I get nore mileage?
Drag squares with speed....The only time I ever care about range is when I’m road tripping. It’s a noticeable difference between 75 and 80mph and absolutely huge difference between 70 and 80.
Ford didn't advertise that you would get 250 miles of range per charge. They said that under a standardized set of tests that the car underwent, the car got 250 miles of range. These tests are the same tests that every car, regardless of whether it is powered by gasoline, diesel, natural gas, hydrogen, or electricity, undergoes. The range or MPG numbers are a tool to compare various vehicles against each other to see which one is more economical to run. The range part of the EPA results is almost an afterthought, but it is published for all types of cars. The MPGe rating is what determines if one EV is more efficient than another one.I just bought 2025 Ford Mach E GT . I am observing the range I am getting is 235 miles only.
