Hello. I've searched and can't seem to find a post I read some time ago about a howling or warbling noise coming from the front end. I've got a 21 Select AWD. It's been making this noise since the get go. I'm about to get new tires, thinking the Hancook Ion Evo, and hope that might fix it. But I've rotated my tired diligently per the schedule, and the noise doesn't SEEM to move front to back when I rotate.

I do seem to recall seeing a post about CV boots or something like that, but can't find it.

Does anyone else have this noise and if so, what was it and what's the cure?

Thank you.

Broken front axle thread is what you were probably thinking, though that was more a tick tick tick when turning right while driving.

Right. I think that was it, or an issue with the CV joint/boot. Forgive me, I'm no expert. It's kind of an very loud, persistent wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah....sort of warble, if you will. Louder the faster you go. Loud road noise masks it a bit. Believe me, I live in Missouri, our roads are crappy. But they JUST repaved (asphalt, no grooves) a road I drive daily. It's smooth as a baby's butt. It's super noticeable. I'll try to get video tomorrow.

It’s been making that noise for years? What did your dealer say?

Honestly, and I know this is not great, I haven't discussed it with my dealer. They seem so disinterested in EV's, etc it's frustrating. I just thought it was cupped tires or something, but it's been doing it since right off the lot, though it seems a bit worse now. That could be the fact that the pavement is so smooth, it doesn't hide it. But I know. I know. I should have brought it up to the dealer despite my opinion of his effectiveness.

Hi Bruce! I can look into your Mach-E's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Mach-E's VIN?
