I feel so defeated

Day two and the parking brake has now decided not to work and throws a Park Fault warning.
Same day I get my level 2 charger (Splitvolt 24amp w/ 14-30 plug plugged into a dedicated 30amp 14-30r), and it faults out immediately when I plug it.

Now trying to get a service appointment on a sunday night and the automated system is indicating no appointments until Tuesday.
This week is incredibly busy for us and I need my car among other things to get my second covid shot while my daughter undergoes time sensitive bloodwork testing over two days. I can't be without a car for any length - and if Service Loaner for life* (*when available) is anything like other dealers it won't work because I absolutely have to be able to carry three car seats.

I feel like a "told you so" is going to come from my wife (who would never buy a ford) my mother (who thinks EVs are dumb) and guys at work (who say never buy a first model year)

This is not the amazing wanting to never stop taking it out and driving it and showing it off experience that I love about getting a new car.
I am just glad it wasn't the Polestar I was originally wanting - how would this even work without a dealer to at least pretend to help out?

Is the vehicle driveable? I personally wouldn't worry about the parking brake being inop.
As to charging, you have the Ford mobile charger that came with the car. Potential public chargers at your destinations.
It sucks to have issues with brand new stuff but you'll get through it.

There is no "parking" an ev transmission right? It's always in gear?
Don't I need the parking brake to hold it on an incline?

(I've had a car roll away on me before and got lucky it only hit a shopping cart return, I've also seen someone absolutely destroy a car that way before while off-roading (though that was a "left it in neutral, picked it up from where they laid it over, didn't put it on gear and it rolled to it's doom the minute the winch was unhooked)

You need the parking pawl to engage. Park on a level surface or chock the wheels until the issue is corrected.

Sorry to hear your first impressions are not meeting expectations. These are good vehicles but unfortunate that you are having issues.

This is not okay! Contact your dealer ASAP. Ford at this point should be able to put out a safe and quality automobile!

The Mach-E still has a park pawl inside the drive unit, like a normal automatic transmission. When you put the car in Park, it sets the park pawl, not the parking brake.

You don't have to wait for an appointment. Drive to your dealership and they should give you a loaner until they fix the issues.

I have to have a loaner that fits three car seats, that has never happened.
I specifically bought this car this week because I ran into a situation where I was without my van and it left us stranded because the old car couldn't hold three car seats.

Parking brake has to be used in conjunction with the brake pedal.

I guess I didn't make myself clear, the car is flashing warning signs that the parking brake has faulted and the car requires service. The parking brake does not work and the car knows it.

If you are using the charger that came with the Mach e. Pull the cord apart and replug in.

Also try the 110 volt set up.

Oh, well they are incorrect then. There is 100% a park pawl inside the rear drive unit (AWD front drive units do not have a second park pawl). The parking brakes are not used when the vehicle is placed in Park, unless you also pull the parking brake lever.

Tesla parks their vehicles on the parking brake, Ford still includes a traditional "automatic" park pawl.

There is a cog and pawl that locks the rear axle when the range selector is placed in "P".
There also is a friction brake assembly at both rear wheels that is actuated electrically then the Parking Brake switch is activated.
