My brother did a similar thing - although he couldn't afford the trans am and bought the Camaro. He damn near killed himself within a couple of months when he totaled the car trying to drive like "the bandit".

I'm on the Rapid Red team. As others I wanted something that stood out and was outside the greyscale. However I do think Grabber Blue may be my second favorite. I actually didn't realize it was even metallic. Would have loved a darker more metallic looking blue.

My thoughts on other colors - no particular order:

• Cyber orange: Just too yellow (school bus) for me but I do like the uniqueness and how it stands out. I would love a darker, redder metallic orange.
• Absolute Black: Looks amazing when clean but too hard to keep clean. And black is so common.
• Space White: This is a really cool color with the change in different light and one of my top picks for Mach-e.
• Star White: This does look really nice when clean with the contrast of black accents but just too many white cars out there.
• Iconic Silver: This is a nice color and pretty rare, but still in the common gray range
• Dark Matter Gray: I test drove one of these. It's very dark almost black in some light. It does have nice sparkle in sun but still too dark and gray. My last car was dark gray and ready for change.
• Infinite Blue/Vapor Blue: I know these are different but same emotions for me. I like that they are a bit different and interesting but just don't stand out for me. Maybe too dark.
• Carbonized Gray: I like this for the grays. Would be an option for me like my last car but still in the common gray space.
• Iced Blue Silver: This is a great color even though it's in the silver range. I have a Highlander (hybrid) in a very similar color so didn't want another.
• Rapid Red: The best! Love the dark tint and metallic really stands out.

Iced Blue would have been popular if they continued it. It's an either or color than the other "chameleon" like affect paint schemes.

I see more blue though than silver from the other post.

Cream like the Ford Edge. Or Beige. What color they called it. That would be interesting in the Mach E. Almost like the color of the 73 Mustang I had, cocaine white.

Oxford White is an awesome color. We went with that color when we ordered my wifes Maverick and it looks awesome.

Oxford White is kind of a truck white though so I don't know how good it would look on the Mach-E since it's a four door hatch back.

We also have an Infinite Blue built in December 2020. We consider it a rarity since they stopped using that color before the model year was even over.

Infinite Blue is a really cool color IMO. They should’ve kept it.

This is a great color, I wish Ford offered it.

The Mach-Es colors are OK, maybe too many on the greyscale. It seems lots of carmakers these days go with a bunch of conservative choices and a few over the top ones. I am thinking of BMW in particular here - concrete grey, steel rod grey, cabinet grey, neon yellow.

We could use a true blue, some kind of green, and perhaps a brown/bronze option like this:

I disagree and would have loved it, but stumbled upon my Rapid Red CR1 on a dealer lot.

My wife told me it was the same color, I didn't believe her, and now we have the "Smurfmobile". It's the same RGB code...

There are a lot of Mach-E colours I like a lot, but would never drive - Cyber Orange (gutsy choice!), Rapid Red (ruined a bit by an almost identical Mazda colour), Grabber Blue, and most of the retired blues. The current Vapour Blue looks excellent in the right light.

I bought bought Star White - looks great in the sun, and the non-GT piano black accents look sharp, and stays cleaner than you'd imagine. Black is impossible to keep showroom clean.

Anything but "middle-management" gray!!!!

I represent that remark! I bought my first red sports car in my 30s, claiming it was my midlife crisis car. I have only had red cars ever since, including my GTPE in my 70s. (Midlife crisis forever!)
