So my two week old Premier decided to alarm for intrusions. 6x during the night. (makes it hard to sleep). No, not earthquakes, I am in Oregon. The Mach-e is inside a heated garage. Decided to start this out of the blue as best I can figure; these do occur during charging at home. This morning I turned off the "inclination" alarm (motion alarm). It's still going off. Is this a bum part or chip? Anyone have experience with this?

Premium.

Whether it's a bum part of a chip, it's a problem that the dealer will have to resolve.

I've heard of a few other people reporting this. It seems like some kind of software bug. Not sure if it's on the car side or the server side of things.

Are you just getting alerts or are you actually hearing the car alarm going off?

It's happened to me multiple times. The culprit every time was some sort of flying bug in the vehicle.

Car alarms wake me up, when I get to the garage the lights are all blinking. From my bed I can stop it by pushing the alarm button on the key fob. But it occurs again later.

Also I am having charging problems similar to another thread today. Perhaps there is some conflict between the car and FordPass. I will try to work from the vehicle.

I will chalk this up to new vehicle, not-perfect app and not take it personally or buyer remorse.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Mach-E concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Are you sure you're not getting the motion alarm? Different from the inclination alarm.

You can't actually turn off the interior motion alarm, despite the existence of that option in the settings menu. Since it's in a garage, have you tried leaving it unlocked?

I had the the issue the other night...

I believe my case was caused by a software update. I just received the recall fix about charging profiles. The motion alarm went of and when I checked the car, the software update progress bar was nearly complete and I could hear the coolant pumps cycling repeatedly. That must have been enough to trigger motion?!?!!?!

I couldn't tell you which, honestly... whatever alarm was going off, was sounded by the extremely wimpy sounding horn.

It was months ago, and I clear those messages weekly. I'm going to assume motion, because of a flying bug in the interior tripping the motion sensors.
