Infotainment glitch?

I’ve been getting this randomly for the past few weeks. I’ve just been too lazy to post the pic. A Sync 4 reset clears it (volume down/seek up) But here it is.

@Ford Motor Company these issues are due to software bugs and they need a software update, ideally OTA. Typically there are no stored error codes.

Even though I appreciate the gesture, asking us to go check the car at the dealer is a waste of time. The dealer can only reset the screen (which we can easily do ourselves) and they can check if there is a software update (there isn't). Most likely they will not even be able to replicate because it happens now and then.
It would be more useful if you could pass a list of reported bugs to the software engineering team and then get back to us with ETA for the fixes. Assuming OTA works, we should receive the updates without having to go to the dealer.

Hello all,

I love when we get updates, I do. But more often than not something wonky happens after they update something. Recently I’ve been hit or miss when I turn my MME on with the infotainment being stuck in this white background that won’t show colors. Anyone else??? I’d say this happens 4/10 times when turning the car on

I have not had this particular issue, but seen other glitches like Nav screen frozen for a while or the driver front display not showing directions ..but these resolved by themselves after a while the same day. Seen more of these after recent updates. Previous issues still persist for me such as Alarm settings reset themselves many times, the profiles sometimes dont open correctly and guest profile shows up randomly etc,.
