To prevent false positive, some sort of contact sensor that would interrupt when the hood jumps to the first position after you 2x pull the leaver in the car or press the button. Something is moving in there. A latch or something. May not need both position and contact sensors depending on implementation. For close, integrate a button (wireless?) on the front of the hood that would close. Getting enough pressure to latch closed might be a challenge. Maybe an actuator on the latch also? Or require the user to press hard on the hood to finish.Ok. I see what you’re saying. I’d be concerned about false positives. How about lowering?
I’m wondering if all this could be done to simply bypass the (non-existent) remote open (lack of) functionality for job 1 cars? While I don’t like carrying a fob, if this could be implemented with some kind of after-market fob, like the ones used for remote start aftermarket, I’d go for it, just to get remote frunk open.To prevent false positive, some sort of contact sensor that would interrupt when the hood jumps to the first position after you 2x pull the leaver in the car or press the button. Should be possible. But can't imagine there'd be enough interest to make it commercially viable. But might be an interesting DIY project.I’m wondering if all this could be done to simply bypass the (non-existent) remote open (lack of) functionality for job 1 cars? Well, since it would be part of the larger “power funk” product, it might be.Should be possible. But can't imagine there'd be enough interest to make it commercially viable. But might be an interesting DIY project.
Do you mean This?I would like to have a trunk organizer. I put groceries back there and everything went everywhere. Would be nice to have dividers or those configurable ones from VW that attach like velcro and you can move around as needed

Plug a sunglass holder liner that actually sticks and stays in when you open the sunglass holder!
An improved charging tray with just way taller dividers, but made out of rubber, if possible. The hard plastic ones rattle like crazy and my phone also just slides around and doesn’t charge.
This would be perfect if the middle divider was still a bit higher and the right side, the non charging side, was a single compartment and not split into two. The right side is perfect for papers or envelopes to lean against the middle divider if it’s tall enough and only has a single compartment on the right, mirroring the left.smabee Car Center Central Storage Box Compatible with Ford Mustang Mach-E 2021 2022 Silicone Rubber Console Container Tidying Auto Interior Accessories(Silicone Central Box Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QHLKNNX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_XXG66X7SS94MR2YPV667
