Just a FYI for anyone also wanting to upgrade their sway bars. Tire Rack is offering a 20% discount on the Eibach sway bars that has been recommended when upgrading their springs.

https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=Eibach&model=Anti-Roll-Kit&autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Mustang+Mach-E+AWD&autoYear=2023&autoModClar=225/55-19
Thank you! Just ordered. Eibach has had the same sale all week, but the bars have been out-of-stock the entire time. They were supposed to be back in stock today (11/28), but it's still showing out-of-stock. Been waiting for a good deal for these bars and I was afraid I was going to miss out. Appreciate the post.

*Edit: The picture on the website is NOT the actual Mach-E Eibach sway bars. It even says it's an approximation. However, the model numbers match exactly. So, for anyone familiar w/the actual images of the sway bars, when you see these images, disregard - it's the same sway bars.

You're welcome, @Ford_orr. I've been looking at a deal since I started asking questions about the upgrade with Mark. Paying with PayPal should net another 5% if you have a qualifying credit card and purchasing through Rakuten got another 3% on top. Saved about 28% off MSRP.

Unfortunately, no additional discounts on the springs but still 30%+ off MSRP at Tasca Ford is not bad.

I got two sets of the Rally springs at Tasca Parts just within the last two weeks and the shipping was fast. About the bars, I installed a set on Keishia's (K~Mae) Select last weekend (along with the Rally springs) and she purchased hers from the Tire Rack. Also had fast shipping.

I did the Koni Yellow upgrade on my 21 AWD Premium, and like the results. Now looking at the rally springs and sways as a way to get a bit more comfort and fit the larger tire.

Anyone know if the Koni has enough extension for the spring change? Or will I need to revert to the Ford struts? I still have my stock struts, though I’d need to buy new mounts as I drilled my originals out.

@markboris likely knows.

Unfortunately Sam, the Koni's do not have the extension. In fact they are 1" shorter than the OEM shocks so with the Eibach lowering progressive lowering springs, they were fine. With OEM springs they are just ok unless you go over large bumps but they will not work with the taller rally springs. You will get a smoother ride with the rally springs and OEM shocks but might have a bit more bounce but just a bit. Better to have the smoother ride though.

Bummer, thanks for the confirmation! I'll need to do a little measuring and see if I should either buy a new set of upper strut supports (~$80 each?), or fab a little bushing to make up for the slop in the strut shaft from drilling out the originals. One benefit of new strut supports would be that I could sell them to another member pre-modified along with the Konis - that would make it a pretty drag and drop install for someone else.

EDIT: Well, the Tire Rack deal on sway bars pushed me over the edge... Parts ordered - sway bars, front and rear rally springs, camber bolts, and new rear strut upper towers. I'm sure I could have de-modified my current ones, but I think I'd rather just bolt this up, and then I can offer the Koni Yellows here in a fully-assembled bolt-em-up configuration. I hope everyone appreciates the magnanimous gesture to civility, lol.

$1036 w/ shipping and tax from Broadway Truck (oempartsonline.com), Tire Rack, and eBay for the camber bolts. Would have been $900 without the new rear strut towers. Not bad at all. Now I need to see if I still have my spring compressors or if I lent them to someone?? Been a while since I've done springs...

I found a shop in La Habra that works on the Mach E's. I'm on the schedule for early October to have the Rally springs installed. Mod Bargains is the name. (714)582-3330
Guada-La Habra! how did it go hitch them…cost? They are a 10 min drive for me.

Thanks

Mark would be correct I did not have them done there. Mark actually provided the service, I would highly recommend talking to him about it.;)

I would love to meet and work with Mark in person, but he is a “little” further than La Habra.

So, I am currently in the process of getting the Rally springs put into my 2024 Premium RWD ER. The machanic sent me some pictures of the left rear spring showing a bow. For those that have installed the Rally springs, and especially Markboris, is this a problem or is this normal? There is a 3/8" spacer at the top of the spring, and according to the mechanic, the picture is showing the spring without full weight on it.

Many thanks to Mark! He explained that it is normal for the rear springs to bow like this before weight is released onto the springs. The crucial part is the bow needs to be pointed towards the shock. My mechanic actually had the bow in this direction, but then rotated the spring to see if the bow went away. I have attached the following pictures of the initial, correct bow for posterity, in case others run into a similar situation.
