I have just bought a 2202 Mach e AWD and the service manager tells me I can plug into a Tesla Charge Point without the need for an adapter..!
Is this true, I dont need a Ford to Tesla Adapter or is it BS..?

False.

You'll need an adapter. If you want to charge at a level 2 EVSE with a brand-T plug, you'll need one kind of adapter. You'll need a second kind to charge at a supercharger.

I would shop at A2ZEV and get their package with both the L2 and DCFC (called Typhoon) adapters.

I didn't notice that you're in Germany. My apologies.

He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The 2021-2025 Mach-E has a CCS-1 charge port. In order to use a Tesla SuperCharger the car needs have a Tesla to CCS adapter. ??

The OP is in Germany. He or she will not need a adapter because all EVs in Europe use the CCS Combo 2 charge port. Not all of the Tesla Superchargers in Europe are open to non-Tesla evs, He or she will still need to use Tesla's website or the Tesla app to find the superchargers that are open to non-Tesla evs.

In the US and Canada, you definitely need an adapter as others stated above.

But I noticed OP is in Hanover, Germany. I’ve read the EU country Teslas have a different charge port than the NAM cars.

Perhaps someone in Europe can better address OP’s question than me…

Correct. I didn't notice that the OP was in Europe. In that case, he or she will not need and adapter bc the evs in Europe includeing Tesla all use the CCS Combo 2 charge port.

Tesla was beginning to install stations that basically had built in adapters. Quite a few had been installed but I would imagine the opening of their network to other manufacturers has put that on hold.
