Sorry @BMT1071 I missed this question entirely when you asked. With everything working fine now, I doubt I’ll let them start replacing parts. Don’t fix what ain’t broke? Any reason you see to go through with it?Are you still planning to go through with the IPMA replacement?
If the system is working now I wouldn't replace any parts.Sorry @BMT1071 I missed this question entirely when you asked. With everything working fine now, I doubt I’ll let them start replacing parts. Don’t fix what ain’t broke? Any reason you see to go through with it?
I also have this problem but it started immediately after having the windshield and moonroof recalls performed. I took my Mach E into my Ford dealer recently to have the Moonroof and Windshield recalls performed. They farmed the work out to their body shop and while the work took longer than expected it was accomplished relatively successfully. The only issue I am experiencing is that whenever I turn on Intelligent Cruise Control I get an error message saying " Intelligent Cruise Control Speed Sign Recognition not available." The cruise control still functions but in Adaptive Cruise Control mode.I'm getting the error below: "Intelligent Cruise Control Speed Sign Recognition not available" whenever I turn on ICC. Adaptive Cruise Control works just fine. The error started about 10 days and unlike other bugs did not clear up after the car went to sleep. Also unlikely to have been caused by or solved by 1.7.1 OTA - started about a week before my car received 1.7.1 and the update did not clear it up.
Interestingly the camera part of the system works - whenever I pass a speed sign, it reads it and the speed limit shows on the display (although it not longer adjusts the ICC speed to match it). However, I'm pretty sure it previously used a database of speed limits to augment the camera (I remember the speed limit being updated whenever I would get on a new road before any sign was in visual range) - this part is no longer working - only visually recognizable speed limits show up in the display.
Another potentially related issue I just noticed today is that the native Ford Navigation app doesn't work - it loads and crashes. I use CarPlay for navigation so didn't notice it until I tested today on a whim - not sure how long that's been issue and whether it's related to the ICC issue.
Curious if anyone has seen a similar issue or has ideas for a "self-service" solution. Next step for me is contacting Ford and taking it to a dealer, but wanted to check first if there's an easy solution that would avoid that trip.

Does the Ford Navigation app work for you? If not, may be the same software issue as the one I was having rather than anything with the camera.I also have this problem but it started immediately after having the windshield and moonroof recalls performed. Has anyone else experienced this problem after having the recalls performed? Could this be related to the windshield camera being damaged or not reconnected properly when the windshield was reinstalled?
