Well my new Pixel 10 Pro XL doesn't wirelessly charge any better than the Pixel 6. Even with all apps closed and not running nav, it loses charge or breaks even, and heats the phone. My new Pixel 10 Pro XL is arriving today so I'll let you know in a day or two. I have low expectations since my current phone is a Pixel 6 Pro and it would not charge properly on the stock charging mat. It would only succeed in making the phone very hot and actually losing charge, especially when using Android Auto nav. I gave up on wireless charging and now just plug it in.
Will advise...
If it wasn't official before, it is now. The charger is too weak for the task.
My car is a 2021 job2. Perhaps later cars have a stronger charger?
