Hi Folks!
So on June 24th my wife and I brought home our New-to-us, leftover 2023 MME GT in Vapor Blue from my local, hometown Ford Store (one-family-owned up until a fee years ago, but one of the salesmen is one of the sons of the original family).
It was indeed a great day... long awaited but it finally came. The car is so amazing and I love everything about it. So pleased to buy yet another Ford, another Mustang and as to our stable of Fine Ford Cars.
Anyway, the day went along fine. Showing my parents and in-laws. Giving spirited sprints to almost 60, smiles had by all. Just marveling at how cool a machine it is.
Finally took my son to a soccer scrimmage that evening, and inspite of the crowded parking, no mishaps there.
After that, my younger son asked if we could go to his GF's house so he could give her the gifts he bought her while we were in the DR earlier in June... so having a new car, and knowing his GF's dad, we set out to show the car and give the gifts.
Thinking back, with as late as it was... it had been a long, exciting day, and tiring... but with the new wheels, off we went.
Anyway. After a bit of conversation, me and my son and gf set off on a ride and on our way back to her house, A DEER RAN OUT IN FRONT OF US AND WRECKED THE FRESH-OFF-THE-LOT EV!!!
So, since June 24th, the day I bought the new car, it's been at our local Body Shop waiting on parts... finally getting work done in it, but man, it was painful and a pain.
So on the 25th of June, I both put a new car ion the insurance AND made a claim on that newly-added auto.
No one was hurt. And we were NOT hot-rodding as my passengers were precious and it was dusk... but we were stopped before the deer stopped sliding off the road...
So aside from soke hurt pride, this is a first world problem and instill have a lot to be thankful for... like a new car, that I'll be reunited with soon enough.
Anyway. Just Mark saying hi to the forum and wanting to share my triumph and tragedy...

I'm sure I'll be on the forum a bit more, as I have been since getting... wrecking my new MME GT.
