Is it possible to modify the seat heaters so as to disconnect/disable part of the heating element(s)?

I really only want the back heating element be active. I'm hoping there's just a wiring harness in the bottom half that can be disconnected, because my lumbar area needs some heat but my butt is hot enough as it is, thankyouverymuch.

Unfortunately John, that is not possible unless you were to remove the seat and perform some custom wiring. As it is right now, both seat heaters for the bottom cushion and backrest are wired in series. Disconnecting the connector for the bottom cushion heater will also cut power to the backrest heater. Also, the temp sensor is attached to the bottom cushion heater, not the backrest heater so if you were to custom wire this, you would need to move that temp sensor to the backrest heater.
