Hey folks, I had a flat tire on Saturday and didn't have the jack pads. Try to find places that have them but no one has it. Bought one today and got it fixed came back home and looked under, and I saw that the part that is holding the battery on the passenger side is damaged.
Is the battery affected? I don't see any warning or error message.
I checked battery health and it shows 96% for 13888 miles.
How do I verify if everything is good? How should I handle this with the tire shop?

That's the spot that Ford's previously replaced packs for due to damage on that rail. I'm not sure it's really necessary to replace but I would probably start by letting the tire shop know right away that you identified they jacked in the wrong spot and caused damage to the battery pack. Show them the picture along with your warning sticker that they missed. Bring to Ford dealer to assess damage and get their recommendation and an estimate for repair.

Bring it to the tire shop, and ask the manager to come out and look at the dent.

The dent in the rail is cosmetic will not hurt anything. But they shouldn't do that again.

I see you have a warning sticker, I would place one closer to the jacking location and mention the rail is aluminum and will bend if jacked.

I am a new owner of a 2024. In doing my due diligence I have noted that jacking these vehicles needs special care. I also own a Sprinter and you can do a lot of damage there with a misplaced jack.
So before I took delivery I bought a set of the jack pads to keep in the car.
The designated jack points are difficult to find with such a low vehicle. Does anyone have a picture of the actual location those jack pads are used?

Thank you. I've added this to my Photos library for future reference.

I checked again today. They did use the jack pads but somehow damaged the guardrail. I still have to reach out to the dealer to look at it.

All I can add is that at my tire replacement at discount tire, I made a big deal about Jack placement. Apparently they understand the concern and did it right. I took this as evidence that you just need to point out the issue

I actually painted the arrows that are molded in to show the jacking points yellow so they're easier to see. BUT I insist on being there when they lift the car. I had to have a flat repaired. Discount tire did for free, they used one of the pads and a floor jack. Then they actually checked torque on all the wheel bolts which I thought was pretty good for free.

I notice in your pic, you seem to have rubber plugs at the holes where the pads insert. Did your cars come with them, neither of the two mach es I've had had them.
