It’s also not an SUV guys. It’s a small cross over utility vehicle. A third decade of the 21st century station wagon. With Mustang styling. I get it that you think there should be a 120v outlet. There isn’t, and that should surprise no one.

As for towing, that’s another issue altogether and is directly related to the fact this is an electric vehicle and has no transmission. That’s going to be the rule, not the exception, as time marches on.
Surprise, no one? Surely surprised every person in this thread but you, lol. Would be nice to have a 120V, but I didn't expect it to come with one, either.

Well, if the first electrified Ford was the hybrid Escape in 2005 and it had the 120 VAC outlet, I expect all electrified Ford's and Lincoln to have it, too. Only the Mach-E missed that goal.

Is there a 120v outlet in mach e ? I looked in the obvious places in the car and could not able find one.
no, there is not.
however, it is not hard to add/use one.

simplest, cheapest temp way to do it is:
- mod beauty cover to gain access to 12v connection points
https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...n-points-hv-disconnect-relay-for-safety.4107/

- buy 1500watt pure-sine inverter
https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...mping-or-home-emergency-battery-backup.20644/

- turn MME on, disable setting->auto-off, hook up jumper cables from MME to inverter.... and you've got up to 1500watts at 120vAC for less than $200 if you just go with the inverter and jumper cables

and the lack of 'blessed' towing is likely not because of lack of transmission.... but more because of possible overheating internally from what we all now know is a problem, until you get your HVBJB replaced if you are one of the first 50,000 MME built.

towing any significant load up, or down, a long hill (with 100+kW output or regen) would be a great way to trigger a 'Service Vehicle Soon' Alert if your Original undersized HVBJB failed because of extended time at elevated temp.

wellllllll, not looking to tow a boat or a camper, but I'd expect to be able to pop in a hitch mount bike rack or cargo box at the very least. Having tow loops in the back on the hitch is an added bonus if you EVER need a tow out of a ditch or snowbank.

Damn, 50+ posts and no one mentions the obvious solution.

If Ford did not put in a 115v outlet into the MME because of pricing issues, I can understand that.

But if Ford can have a $700 dash cam as a Ford Accessories option, why can they not have a 150 watt plug in as a dealer installed option also. Would that not make them money? Unless, of course, they don't want to advertise that their $60K car does not come with one.:)

Maybe they could use the same inverter that came in my 2017 Edge, Sticker price $45K, (and my 2016 F-150, LOL).
