As for towing, that’s another issue altogether and is directly related to the fact this is an electric vehicle and has no transmission. That’s going to be the rule, not the exception, as time marches on.

Every other Ford SUV except the Escape has an option for a built in 120v inverter. I think it's a huge oversight on ours, that and no towing.

I don't get why people see that pony on the front and think you should be towing on the back.

The Model Y was very clearly the target for the Mach E and it comes with the option for a class 2 3500lb hitch. And as I added above, the Mach E can tow, but only in Europe specced models.
Really I'd just want the hitch for a bike rack (I know there's aftermarket). For real towing, yes, I'd get a proper vehicle, but in a pinch my old escape was more than capable.

Well, to be fair....my reply was excessively short and to the point which didn't leave any wiggle room to segway to the lack of a frunk button on early build cars so......

Clearly Ford plans to provide a 120v outlet right next to the frunk button when the time comes.
