It would be cool if they could prepare a demonstration of a failing HVBJB while driving over the Grapevine to fully simulate a real customer experience! Including use of Ford Roadside Assistance for a tow.

Jim Farley is LA right now. We got invited with a small group of EV owners to meet with him for about 30 minutes and talk about our EV experiences. We have to drive home now, but I'll post more later or tomorrow.

Hmm, v1.3 is considered production since it’s shipping on new cars. Now he’s making me wonder if there’s a v1.4 coming…

I really don’t wish a broken HVJB on anyone traveling away from home but maybe, just maybe if his didn’t work, that might be the thing to have Ford do a full recall for everyone.

I really want to like this guy . PR motives aside, I think it is very cool he is taking the time to do this. Big companies make all kinds of promises and ultimately have to make shareholders happy, but, still, I don't see all the other automakers taking the time to go on YouTube channels and doing meet ups like this. Not to mention what @alangant said in his goodbye thread about Ford engineers taking a real interest in his HVBJB issues.

Cautious optimism (copium) but I really think Blue Oval City will produce some pretty cool stuff come 2025. Fingers crossed. @Mach-E VLOG Patrick, Liv, can't wait to see your video on the meet up.

I thought 1.2 is what is shipping on new cars now.

I didn’t think any non test cars had anything except 1.0 or 1.2.

1.3 isn't production on Lightnings yet. In fact, Lightnings aren't scheduled to start getting the PowerUps until Fall. Hypothetically our Mach Es will start in Summer. Hypothetically.
