Jump Starting off a Mach e?

A few days ago, a friend called and asked if I had any jump leads. I dug round the garage and found some and proceeded to head over to his house in my mach e. But, before I got to far, I started to wondered if you can jump start a car off a mach e, or any other EV for that matter? It was dark and late so didn't have the time to go hunting for a positive and negative terminal, so when home and took the wife's car instead.

Had a look this weekend and can see a negative terminal logo under the bonnet but not the actual terminal. Just wondering if anyone else has tried to jump start off a mach e and if it is actually possible?

Done several times. Used it several times to start a 1.6 diesel with a bad battery. It works, but has to take into account that the battery is tiny and might not alone be able to start an engine since it is not made for high current. The power supply in the mach e is however able to charge another battery pretty quickly

I killed the Sync module on my 2011 Fusion by jump-starting another vehicle (I believe that was the cause). No more of that. Use a portable lithium battery-powered jump starter. For example, see AliRafiee’s link above.​
