Key fob malfunction

My key fob will not lock the car. The walk-away beep function is set to on but no beep. Manual lock on fob doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

If it's a 2021 car like your bio says, the battery in the fob has probably died. Pop it open and see what you need to get to replace it.

I just posted that my original batteries (removed from the keys) read <2.8V. ??

Personally, walk-away lock is an annoyance. If I left the car unlocked, I want it to stay that way. I disabled it. And the car still locks my dog in when I close the driver’s door and go to open his door. Had I wanted it locked I would have pushed the lock button. ??
