I don't know that I would add them all up. Might muddy the data. I download the app just now, and tested it out flat on a table. X is left to right (long side to long side) which would be more like cornering g-forces. Y is bottom to top (charge port to camera) so flat this would be like acceleration/braking. Z is back to screen so flat this would be like bounce which is what I think you want given that you will drive the same route and don't want to take into consideration things like acceleration as much. Obviously, you want to want to roughly try and drive the same speed, route and such. Charging mat seem like a good place, but also maybe on trunk floor or back seat floor with something holding it down. Maybe if the car is doing the boat front to back oscillation, then Y might come into play, but I would think Z is mostly what you want. Just some thoughts...
I agree with your assessment was just giving some options for people to play with data. All the charts I have created have been pure Z axis. Now the real fun, I haven't done it, but get two people have one phone in the front charging and one in the trunk and start at the same time. Then you can really measure bounce difference in front vs back of the car!

I have another question regarding warranty because I am considering doing the group purchase thing here (by this Sunday): https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...-all-non-gtpe-trims-and-configurations.19800/

Is there any documentation on what part of vehicle's warranty that I would be voiding by installing these coilovers?
Magnesun act.

It voids whatever problem it causes.

Ford dealers sell and install aftermarket suspensions on Brand new Ford trucks.

I wouldn’t worry about it.

Final day for the group buy. If you’ve been in the fence about ordering, consider you can always resell after purchasing if you don’t end up install. The ORT price link expires tonight at 11:59PM eastern.

KW pricing goes up tomorrow to $3200 + shipping. Last chance!

The vendor informed me we have until 12:00 PM EASTERN TODAY to close out any remaining orders. This is your last chance to get rock-bottom pricing on an elite suspension package for the Mach-E.

Don't be wishy washy and buy a set! You know you want to!

I didn't see this. Can I add an order that went in a week ago?

If you're in the Philadelphia/tri-state area, I'll be at the vendor's shop tomorrow doing the coilover installation if you'd like to come check out any part of the process.

So, I did my first long drive after the install. Two, actually. Two hundred mile round trips yesterday and today.

everything is good and as per my prev posts.

I have a feeling those who have bought these will not regret them, but please do have realistic expectations.

Please let us know if the car has to be modified in any way. I feel like I read somewhere the opening at the top of shock had to be increase for the backs??? Mine are ordered. Also, are there manuals out yet for our cars that list the torque specs for the various bolts on our MMEs?

The car itself is not modified in any way, but the KW kit does require the use of the Ford Mach-E OE front strut top hats and rear shock top mounts - and enlarge the rear shock mount to accommodate the larger KW spindle. In order to use these mounts, you would need to either:
  • Remove and disassemble the stock strut and shock assemblies in order to extract the top hats and shock mounts, enlarge the spindle hole on the rear shock mounts, transfer to the KW hardware for installation and reinstall
  • Purchase new OE front strut top hats and rear shock mounts (removes the requirement to disassemble stock shock/strut hardware), enlarge the spindle hole on the rear shock mounts, transfer to the KW hardware for installation and reinstall
Other than that, it's a straight forward process. Oh, can't forget the joy of removing the frunk plastic covers. Hopefully no clips are lost :)
