I had a similar issue when I first got my car, with the Ford mobile charger showing blue pulsing light (normal), then eventually the amber light comes on (blue light still pulsing...so reduced charging). Then it goes off after a little while, then back on again.

My issue was related to the lugs on the back of the outlet not being torqued down properly (enough). I had the wrong type of outlet installed, but also, after years of service, the lugs can get loose and cause the outlet to run hotter than normal causing this fault.

Interesting. I did buy an Autel 240V 40A charger and put my mobile charger, the 110 adapter and my Lectron Tesla adapter in the back storage are.

Frustrating, I am having the same issue. Charger worked fine for about six months, then started dropping to 3kW when charging. It was July, so the dealer blamed it on the heat, even though car is garaged. A year has passed, winter and all, and the problem persists. Brought it up at the 10K maintenance visit, 20K maintenance visit, and when I took the car in when the HVJB failed. Each time was told a "software update" would fix it.
Car is at the dealership again now, has been for over a week. I was just told they have no 240V outlets to plug in the charger, so they can't even test it. Furthermore, they are convinced that the amber light is coming on because of an issue is with my professionally installed 50A outlet.
This has not been a pleasant experience.

Mine did the same thing. Finally had dealer check it out august 2023. They replaced under warranty. No issues since.

Well known problem no acknowledgement or fix here to date. Appears it was an update so the cars charging port does not melt and have a burnt smell.

L2 charging speed recently dropped 33%
