I should have known. Reset the 12v, problem solved. It’s weird to me that it worked, but it does seem to solve every issue my car has. Could be worse for sure.
Ditto. By now I should have known to try the 12v reset.

Which brings up an issue I have with this forum...acronyms. As a newbie, both to the forum and MMEs, I often need to stop and look up acronyms on the web which is not cool (to me, anyway). Some I can guess, but some, i.e. HVBM, are head scratchers. Does this forum have a real-time acronym list that gets updated by 'someone' or automagically? It would then make this forum so much more enjoyable to us newbies. Thanks for letting me vent.
Hasn’t been updated in a while but https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/acronyms-tlas-and-initialisms.6365/ ??

As far as I’m concerned it’s just the price of doing business on the internet, or texting my brother, the acronym king. Anyway, what’s the difference between looking it up somewhere on the forum and asking Dr Google?
Or doing a forum search and copy/pasting the URL for others to see? ??

I posted this in another thread, but I will as k here as well. Is there an easy way to pit in a 12v disconnect to reset the car without disassembling the frunk.

No, but you could try resetting just the RGTM (rear gate trunk module) by pulling fuse 11-12 for 5 minutes and then reinstalling. The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) is also on this fuse so it will reset communications issues with Ford. ??

There's a couple of members who have mentioned installing wireless battery disconnect switch.
I'm considering one myself, but am looking for the most robust example that I can find.

Good news: The 12v reset fixed the liftgate problem.
Bad news: the problem is slowly coming back. Liftgate is unreliable again if the Mach E is charging or running.

That is super weird. Also really annoying.

Here is my acronyms list.
I've been referring to your acronym list regularly and just now ran across 'LSMFT', which I thought of as your Easter Egg. As a boomer who watched TV with all the cigarette commercials back in the day, I had a good laugh!
