Unexpected liftgate opening, problem with paak?

I've had my Mach e (21 w/ stock power liftgate) for a little over a year and have never had any problems with the liftgate. I have seen various issues with unexpected opening on the forum though.

Last week I lost one fob. I had never used paak before because I didn't trust it in various ways. After losing I've fob, I figured, better paak than potentially losing the only remaining key.

After over a year of zero liftgate issues, it has opened on approach twice in one week using paak.

Thoughts?

Did you lose the fob inside the car?

I don't think so. Looked for it in there and the doors don't open without another key.

A loose fob locked inside the car will not allow it to be unlocked. You must have an external key.

Maybe try turning off the tailgate kick to open option?

The car would start if a key was inside though right?

I like kick to open. I use it all the time.

Maybe you lost the key near where you park the car?
