In the 2.5 years I had my 21 I only opened it a couple times, I've had my 23 a couple months and only opened it at the dealer to see that it worked. ;) good luck!

Geez dude, take the one post out of many and try to make that what it is about. Passive aggressive reposts have what value. It appears I got plenty of great and valuable feedback from people who aren't passive aggressive.
You're going through a stressful situation so try to be mindful you might be reading into things that maybe wouldn't ordinarily get your back up. I read through the entire thread and I didn't pick up on any overt passive-aggressiveness. This is a good community and everyone here (mostly) tries to be helpful to each other.

Unfortunately I do not have any additional suggestions. I've had ongoing issues with my locks (refusing to unlock on first press or sometimes even at all until another door is unlocked first) which isn't the same thing at all as what you're going through but I'm very curious to know your car's eventual diagnosis and whether the dealer performs any software updates to the door locks.

Good luck; hope you get your car back soon.

Maybe Ford should make a manual entry method....

You are correct. My frustration did come out. I agree, I come here to look for solutions and decided to seek advice I couldn't find. In general, I do find the members in here or any forum fir that matter, a bit annoying when they reply picking things a part instead of moving on or offering feedback in a productive method. My guide posts in responding to posts is either have some positive feedback, empathy or move on. Now, if the feedback isn't productive or starts out... how do you know.... yeah, it pushes a button... that doesn't open a door in my Mach E apparently. ?

So, here is the thing that makes me believe it may be a battery issue or the recall issue. It hasn't been plugged in for 3 days and wasn't this morning, as it was sitting in a parking lot.

Just curious, what year is your Mach-E? BlueCruise works? And have you been getting OTAs normally? 6.1.0 installed?

My guess is the 12v is dead enough to not power the modules in the car but not so dead that the frunk jump points are active.

Love the Bluecruise and working fine. Visited with the service advisor and all OTAs have been pushed and functioning. I haven't looked at version myself, but didn't get that feedback from the advisor.

I considered that as well. Hope it is that simple. Concerned me when the tech couldn't get in first try today.

If it does not go fully dead soon enough they will have to pop the frunk from under the car. It can’t be that different to do from an ICE. Had to get mechanics to pop my hood on a KIA when the latch broke.

Me too Gene. It is a great vehicle.

Good afternoon. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealership you are working with? I would like to see what I can do to assist with your Mach-E's issues.
