Macan EV Official Specs & Photos Revealed

Macan EV pricing makes me realize that the 2024 Mach-E GT (with former performance edition package trim now standard) will be a relative bargain.

A "Ford" will never be a "Porsche". Even if the spec on paper is all in favor of Ford. A Porsche will simply win by being a Porsche. They have a cult following. Porsche also actively manages their allocations released so the used car price will not crash too much. You usually have to queue up to order a Porsche. At least that was the case for ICE Porsches. Not sure how the EVs from Porsche will go.

Thanks for confirming that this car has been released in the US already! While driving on Williams Drive the other day, I saw a white EV coming toward us and I said, "Oh another Tesla" (it looked just like all the white Teslas you see everywhere), but my husband said, "No, it's a Porsche, look at the headlights."

The ICE Macan has been available in the US since 2015, it’s the gas version.
The EV Macan will not be available until second half of this year.

ICE is “electric car nerd speak” for Internal Combustion Engine. Means any gas powered car.

It’s also meant to confuse anyone new to the forum, as does most acronyms….. ?

As mentioned in the other thread, an electric Porsche doesn’t follow the same formula as the gas cars when it comes to resale.

The Taycan resale value sucks.

Our loaner wasn't the electric version but I imagine the interior will be similar. Since we have the hybrid Panamera I thought it would be similar but the Panamera interior design/dashboard is much nicer IMO. I still like the MME over both Porsche's.

The base Macan ICE interior isn’t incredible, you need to go up a couple of trims or add options for it to start feeling luxurious. The Panamera is already much nicer by default.

The Taycan is quite different, simpler looking. And I find the Macan EV to be somewhere between the Macan ICE and the Taycan.

While I enjoy the MME interior, I find the new Macan EV interior looks pretty great!
Would just miss the larger central screen of the MME.

If money wasn’t that important, would you go with the Macan 4 vs the Macan Turbo?

Aside from the price, the 2 things that bug me about the Turbo are the 360 camera (option on the 4) and the smaller trunk (vs the 4). And with such a car, a 360 degrees camera is a must have.

I feel like interiors are one of the few places where vehicles don’t look the same. My parking at work is filled witch car designs that look nearly identical. Trucks too. Take off the badge and they are all simple variations of the same thing. That is until the cyber truck.
