I didn't realize it can get that cold. Thanks for that.Right behind the front section is a radiator and fan (aka heat source if it's hot out). The drains should handle the overpressure if you haven't sealed them closed. I'd insulate the entire thing where any solid CO2 can touch it as -100 degrees is pretty damn cold for plastic, even if it's fiber reinforced.
Dry ice is about -110f or -78c. You're better off with a cooler than the frunk. The frunk, especially if the vehicle is in use is just a poor choice. Otherwise you need to just insulate the hell out of it. A cooler in a cooler is a better choice, kept in the shade.I didn't realize it can get that cold. Thanks for that.
Realistically I want to keep the Frunk cold for a week camping. Traditional Ice only seems to last a few days.
Those are “dry” in that the liquid is sealed. But they’re not dry ice.
